Goodbye, Readers

100 reporters get a pink slip from Washington Post these days.

The paper is one of the most respected in USA, and it has received several Pulitzers over the years. Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, two of Washington Post's reporters decades ago, unearthed the entire Watergade scandal that lead to President Richard Nixon's resignation in 1974.

However, even the most legendary newspapers sometimes have to let its employees go. This is what's going on at Washington Post.

And how do a reporter say the perfect goodbye to his readers? Linton Weeks knew how.

In his last article 'Updike Reads The Lines in American Art' he simply wrote a coded message. Take a look here.

Let me help you. Read the first uppercase letter in each paragraph.

A reader commented on the article: ...and goodbye to you, Linton.
